We adore how chill the location is. We camped at Valley of the Rogue State Park in a Travel Trailer. We camped at Valley of the Rogue State Park in a Motorhome. This park has 3 miles of shaded green frontage on the scenic Rogue River. We spent 4 nights at Valley of the Rogue State Park in August 2014.

In October there are a lot of snowbirds stopping at the Valley of the Rogue for an overnight, but even on the weekend, it never totally filled up. If you want a pull via website, you may want to get there by at least late afternoon as some of the internet sites are not level and will not accommodate lengthy loads and they do fill up. Walking trails have been paved and nice. There is a soft surface river trail and a paved segment of the Rogue River Greenway trail.

It is a pleasant, hassle-free and central camping area for the many attractions of Oregon’s Rogue Valley. The Greenway Trail is a paved simple hiking trail that leads into City of Rogue River.
