Does hanging out with a fun adult, to the beach, the park, the mall, playing games, and talking sound like fun?  Do you have questions about sex stuff, your future, health stuff, or do you just want an adult to talk to? The Bright Families mentoring program might be perfect for you or someone you know!

To become a mentee, you must meet the following requirements:  

  • You must be able to make a six-month commitment to the program.

  • You must be able to spend AT LEAST four hours per month with your mentor.

  • You must complete an 8-week comprehensive sex ed class taught by one of our instructors.

Steps to becoming a mentee:

1.  Complete and return a Mentee Intake Form (under the "Forms" tab above) either by fax or mail
2.  Talk to our coordinators about completing your 8-week sex ed requirement.
3.  Schedule an interview with a Mentor Coordinator.
4.  Become a BRIGHT Families mentee and meet your new mentor!!!
